"Getting" GoldBox
"Getting" GoldBox was the title of a book I wrote a few years ago. (There was also a second book titled
"Getting" GoldBox Views). I wrote these books at exactly the wrong time, as it turned out. They soon became
hopelessly out-of-date as GoldMine and GoldBox both changed rapidly. Within a couple of years, I had to
withdraw them from the market. I have decided not to update or re-write them; just more work than I care to do
on spec.
But I enjoy writing about GoldBox, and so I've decided to write about some of its features as I find the time.
Unlike the books, where I tried to cover all the bases, with all the versions, I will only write papers on the latest
version of GoldBox (at this writing, that is GoldBox-7). My first paper is on the Virtual Org Chart creator. It can
create GoldMine OrgCharts, with a virtual preview available.
If you'd like to make suggestions about what I write about next (or soon), please drop me a note. While I can't
guarantee to fulfill your request, the odds are really quite good that I will. This page will contain permanent
links to the papers I write in this series.
