GoldBox Views
The example below illustrates some of the special capabilities of GoldBox Views. Click on the thumbnail to
see the View. The text describes some of the View's more notable features.
Response Card Entry View

This View is designed for FAST entry of  records/data based on many possible choices.
Among its advanced features are:
OTF (On-the-fly) Lookups that enable the User to select specific kinds of Contacts from the live, GoldMine
Contact set (for example, to select "Guest of..."). OTF also enables a User to find a specific GoldMineContact
and link (the Lock Link checkbox) the View record to it. Its data then populates the View, and new or edited
data will update that Contact, rather than creating a new one.

Checkbox triggered Date fields. Most of the checkboxes are actually date fields; if a GoldMine record is
linked to the View, existing GM dates are displayed in the label next to the box. But if a new date needs to be
entered (or an existing date updated), a simple checkmark is all that's needed to enter the View's Card Date
into GoldMine for that field.

"Sticky Defaults" are fields that a User can set (through an associated View) and forget until the User wants
that value to change. Can be a BIG time saver when entering lists, groups of cards, etc. The Card Date is an
example of a sticky default in this View.

Family Record Adds. New records are normally added by a left-click on the + button. But using a right-click
causes a pre-configured copy to occur, so things like address fields are copied to the new record from the
current View record, but phone fields are not. A BIG time saver when dealing with members of the same
family. All fields in the View can be configured this way.
