- This View is designed for FAST entry of a specific type of real estate Opportunity —
In a minute or so, a User can create a new Opportunity with 2 "Defendant" Influencers,
Forecast Sale and Activities to contact the Inluencers.
- OTFs again...The Tax Authority Contact record and the Referee Contact record (if applicable) are both
linked to the Opportunity as Influencers, using existing GoldMine Contact records. Also, an Activity to
contact the Referee is scheduled...all "behind the scenes". This process also involves a "sticky
default" Opp Variables View (not shown). In this scenario, scores of new Opps are created with the
same Dates, Tax Authority and some other info, all of which is entered only once, through the Opp
Variables View. - More Post Processing...Checking "Edit After Posting" puts the Property record in a special GoldMine
Group of Properties with more than 2 Defendants (the extras are added using another View). Also, a
variety of GoldMine Activities are created for a variety of Users. This is equivalent to using GoldMine's
APs for scheduling, but can be more convenient when done this way. - Still More...Posting a single View record can create up to 3 new GoldMine Contact records; three new
Influencer records; a new Main Opportunity record; and a new Forecast Sale record, in addition to all
the Activities mentioned above. However, GoldBox automatically checks all the Contact records for
dupes, and will update existing records instead of creating new ones, if existing records are found.
